Coronation Street has confirmed who became the victim of Rob Donvan's dangerous armed siege in its early ITVX release, with the dramatic wait now over for fans.
Fans have known for weeks that Rob would return to Weatherfield and take his sister Carla Connor and her girlfriend DS Lisa Swain hostage in his continued bid to be a free man.

The convicted murderer went on the run after being pushed down the stairs by Carla last month, amid his prison escape plan. He used an opportunity to be a kidney donor to plot his freedom.
But it didn't go as Rob, who is locked up for the murder of Tina McIntyre, hoped after Lisa tricked him into going through with the operation before he could escape.
It was last week that Rob was seen back on the Street, weeks after going on the run following being a kidney donor for Carla, and looked to his ex-fiancée Tracy Barlow for help.
She reluctantly agreed to harbour the convicted murderer but it wasn't long before she was made to regret her decision as she discovered Rob had a gun, and he didn't seem afraid to use it.

With him in a bad way, bleeding on Ken Barlow's sofa at No.1 Coronation Street, Tracy insisted she call 999. While she didn't want to take no for an answer, she soon had no choice as her former love interest wielded a gun in her face.
Rob then demanded that she call his sister Carla, weeks after they last came face-to-face when, with the help of prison officer Mandy, they kidnapped the Underworld factory boss and took to to an abandoned warehouse.
During Tuesday's (March 25) episode of Corrie, which was released early on ITVX before airing the same evening at 8pm, Rob got his wish of seeing his sister and she was shocked to come face to face with her injured brother.
Knowing his time was up, Rob, still brandishing the gun, revealed to his older sibling that his plan was to make her watch him die so that the memories would haunt her forever.
Carla tried her best to talk to him but Rob seemed intent on going ahead with his plan regardless. She and Tracy tried other tactics to bring Rob round. But after distracting him, Tracy took her chance to escape as she got her hands on her dad Ken's spare key.

Angered, Rob threatended to shoot Carla and then himself before they were both surprised by Lisa's arrival, who couldn't help but intervene having called the situation in to her colleague DC Kit Green.
The new couple were then trapped by an armed and dangerous Rob, whose demands and behavour was becoming more erratic as time went on. Not willing to wait any longer, Lisa took her chance to disarm Rob but it ended up in a tussle for the gun before a shot rang out.
Armed police quickly stormed the house and despite everything, Carla jumped to protect Rob. With him no longer armed, Kit arrested Rob for false imprisonment and possession of a firearm, while it was confirmed that Lisa and Carla weren't physically hurt in the drama.

But the same couldn't be said for Lisa's daughter, Betsy Swain. In a shock turn of events, Lisa was horrified to hear that there had been a casualty when the gun went off and making her way into the ginnel, she was horrified to find Betsy on the ground.
She had suffered a bullet wound to the shoulder and was quickly seen being given medical treatment as she was bundled into the back of an ambulance, As she did, the terrified teen begged her mum not to let her die but it will be an anxious wait to see if Betsy will fully recover.
